Growing up, my mom had an antique hand-tinted photo in our kitchen of a beach somewhere in the south pacific. I can remember it vividly and since have always sought out these photographs in antique shops and flea markets. I love the juxtaposition of soft and bright colors that these images have.
Anyone up for a game of Petanque? What better way to celebrate bastille day than some Lillet, a few cigarettes, a picnic of breads and cheeses and a game of petanque. I must admit, I'm pretty good once i have a few drinks in me. It must be the french in me.
